Moving home can be a stressful time, but we have the experience to make the task hassle-free. We have a number of points for home movers to consider before the big day.

• Start packing early. This could be weeks before you move, putting away items that aren’t in regular use. Packing can be a long process so leave plenty of time.
• Using good quality boxes can make a huge difference. There is nothing more frustrating than an old box falling apart on you. Smaller boxes just mean more trips to the van.
• Label your boxes. Knowing the contents of each box will save considerable unpacking time.
• Organise yourself by starting to declutter and use a countdown guide to moving house.
• Organise your utilities as soon as possible otherwise you may be put on temporary rates.
• Don’t try an unpack everything in one day, just the essentials.
